Learning is our way of living

For there to be an authentic and inspired connection, we partner with individuals and companies who have open minds and curious hearts.

To prepare you for an enriching SPARK experience, please create the time and space to review the following tools.

Oprah Winfrey is our mentor and teacher. She is an American media proprietor, talk show host, actress, producer, and philanthropist.

Watch the following videos on her final Oprah show, her Harvard Commencement Speech, on her LifeClass, her speech on Power of Women, her story at the Essence Festival, and most recently her inspiring talk at the 2018 Golden Globes when she won the Cecil B. de Mille Award. We also keep watching her latest USC commencement speech as a reminder to share our voice. These are just a few of the many wonderful videos with Oprah.

Simon Sinek inspires us to love what we do and to keep sharing. He is an author best known for popularizing the concept of “the golden circle” and to “Start With Why“, described by TED as “a simple but powerful model for inspirational leadership all starting with a golden circle and the question “Why””.

Watch the following videos on “How great leaders inspire action” and “Why good leaders make you feel safe“. A few other great videos are “Why leaders eat last“,  “Love your work“, and “Restoring The Human in Humanity”. Our latest and now favourite video from Simon is on “Understanding Empathy”.

Brené Brown inspires us to be brave and to be wild! She is an American scholar, author, and public speaker, who is currently a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. Over the last twelve years she has been involved in research on topics ranging from vulnerability, courage, worthiness, and shame. She is the author of two #1 New York Times Bestsellers: The Gifts of Imperfection (2010) and Daring Greatly (2012). She and her work have been featured on PBS, NPR, TED, and CNN.

Watch her videos on “The power of vulnerability”, “Empathy“, and “Listening to shame”. We are also inspired to set personal boundaries from this interview.

Ellen Degeneres inspires us to dance for love. She is an American comedian, television host, actress, writer, producer, and LGBT activist.

Watch her commencement speech and when she had the courage to stand in her essence.
